Poquoson, VA Cancer
Benefit to raise money for Hopie Gibbs who was recently
diagnosed with bone cancer. Auctions, bake sale & raffles begin
at noon. Spaghetti dinner and live music start at 4:00pm (I'll be
performing from 4-5pm. Local musicians 327
South and others will be performing after that.)
Tickets are just $10 for adults. Donations are being accepted! Visit

Rockville, MD. House Concert Folk
'N Great Music at Cheryl and David's house. 8pm. (Doors
open at 7:30pm). This will be a special double bill show with contemporary
folk singer-songwriter Jaime
Michaels. Based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Jaime will be
flying in to share his mesmerizing songs and stories. Join us for
an intimate evening of music in a friendly & comfy setting.
Reservation instructions are included online.
The suggested contribution for this show is $20 per person, but
those with limited income who can only afford $15 are also welcomed
warmly. As always, 100% of the funds from this house concert series
go directly to the performers (Thank You Cheryl & David!) Directions
and other details will be provided upon confirmation of your reservation.

4/4/12: Norfolk,
VA. 7-9pm I'll be performing a 15-minute set as part of Old Dominion
University's Interfaith Celebration, in support
of President Ombama's "Interfaith and Community Service Campus
Challenge." This is an initiative that invites institutions
of higher education to commit to interfaith cooperation. This special
program will include music and artistic presentations which bring
together students and community members of many faiths.
Cool, huh? Location: Chandler Recital Hall, Diehn Fine & Performing
Arts Building - ODU campus (4810 Elkhorn Ave.) Free and open to
the public. Sorry, reservations aren't available.

Onion This
is a special "pre-Shelby-Lynn-show." Katie Duckett and
I will be warming everyone up (including ourselves!) for the fabulous
Shelby Lynn concert right next door at The Naro Theater. Naro doors
open at 6:30pm and both of these events benefit Tidewater
Arts Outreach. The Green Onion is a casual fine-dining
restaurant offering fresh fare, local/craft beers and fine wines.
